Moroccan Defender Manuel da Costa Joins Belgian Club Waasland Beveren

Moroccan international Manuel da Costa has just signed a one-year contract with the Belgian club DIB, Waasland Beveren. The Moroccan central defender is reunited with his compatriot Abdelhafid Al Badaoui.
At 35 years old, Marouane da Costa has toured many football clubs. Before Waasland Beveren, he had played for PSV, Fiorentina, Sampdoria, Lokomotiv Moscow, Greek Olympiacos in the European championship. In Turkey, he played for Sivasspor, Trabzonspor, Erzurumspor.
And it’s not over. The former defender of the Atlas Lions has also been a player for Al Ittihad. With the Moroccan national football team, he made 31 appearances, after making his debut with AS Nancy and the Portuguese national team.
