Moroccan Culinary Week Launches at French Senate, Showcasing Kingdom’s Gastronomic Heritage

Nadia Fettah Alaoui, Moroccan Minister of Tourism, launched the Moroccan culinary arts week at the Palais du Luxembourg in Paris on Tuesday, November 12, in the presence of several Moroccan and French personalities, including Hubert Védrine, former Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Initiated to highlight Moroccan gastronomy, renowned for its refinement and its roots in the cultural and culinary heritage of the kingdom, the Moroccan cuisine week received the support of the France-Morocco Friendship Group in the French Senate and its president, Gérard Larcher, as well as other culinary arts partners.
For this edition, several activities are planned, including the launch evening with a cocktail dinner, under the supervision of the La Mansouria restaurant, the head chef of the Elysée, Guillaume Gomez, and the president of the best workers in France.
During this week, senators and officials of this institution as well as visitors will be able to taste and savor traditional Moroccan dishes that contribute to the international reputation of Moroccan cuisine.
