Moroccan Court Orders Re-Grading of Student’s Exam After Cheating Accusation

The administrative court of Casablanca has ruled in favor of a student accused of cheating on the 2021 baccalaureate exams. Her philosophy exam paper will be re-graded.
Good news for Noura Mansouri. Last week, the regional academy of Béni Mellal reported that this student’s philosophy paper resembled those of two other candidates who took the Baccalaureate exam in the same room. Furthermore, the competent regional commission confirmed the validity of the measures taken against her.
An accusation of cheating that Noura refutes. In a post on social media, the one who wanted to obtain her baccalaureate with honors and pursue journalism studies, expressed her intention to definitively quit her studies. She believes that if she agreed to repeat the school year, it would be tantamount to acknowledging the facts she is accused of.
The president of the administrative court of Casablanca seems to be giving her reason. A bailiff was sent to the regional academy of education and training of the Béni Mellal-Khénifra region to question its director about Noura’s exam papers and the evidence of the cheating she is accused of, reports Alyaoum24. A report will also be drawn up.
