Moroccan Cosmetic Surgery Booms Despite COVID-19 Pandemic

Contrary to several sectors of activity, the health crisis related to Covid-19 has not had a negative impact on the Moroccan market for aesthetic medicine and surgery.
Since the resumption of activity, it is the rush to the offices of practitioners during this coronavirus period, reports La Vie éco. The activity is going rather well despite the health constraints. Of course, there are no statistical data on the good health of the Moroccan market for anti-aging surgery and medicine, but the figures communicated by the IMCAS (International Master Course on Aging Science) company give a small idea.
In 2019, the global market for dermatology, plastic surgery and aesthetic treatments reached 10.93 billion euros, a growth of 7%. Observation: the industry has almost tripled in 10 years with sales of 5.7 billion in 2014. With this upward trend, sales could exceed 14.8 billion euros in 2023.
