Moroccan Club Ittihad Tanger Parts Ways with Coach Badou Zaki

Ittihad Riadi de Tanger (IRT) has announced the termination of the contract that bound the club to Badou Zaki, who was appointed coach last summer. The termination of this contract was done by mutual agreement and will not have any financial impact on the club.
In a statement, the IRT indicates that Badou Zaki did not object to the decision to terminate his contract and has agreed not to demand any financial compensation. The club management thanks him for "the efforts he has made in service of the team and especially for having accepted the decision to terminate the contract in a spirit of open sportsmanship."
According to the club, Badou Zaki did not claim any compensation because he is aware of "the current financial situation of the club, and is grateful for the good treatment he has received from all members of the management office and the administrative staff of the team."
Last July, Badou Zaki took over the management of Ittihad de Tanger, succeeding coach Juan Pedro Benali, whose contract had expired. His mission was to build a "competitive team."
