Moroccan City Tetouan Prepares for King Mohammed VI’s Summer Visit

Tetouan is sprucing itself up to welcome King Mohammed VI and many Moroccans who will spend their summer vacation there this summer. Several projects related to the living environment have started in the city.
Street cleaning work, painting of sidewalks and pedestrian crossings... Tetouan is preparing the royal visit. In charge, a hundred workers from the municipality. Started in April, the cleaning operations continue as the visit of the sovereign approaches, reports Assabah. In addition to traditional tools (brooms and shovels), the workers use new brand new tools acquired by the municipality, including industrial vacuum cleaners and blowers.
Other work is added to the cleaning operations. These are the filling of potholes after the winter storms, as well as the painting of sidewalks and pedestrian crossings. The workers are working hard to restore the city’s beauty. This should enhance the summer vacation of King Mohammed VI and Moroccan tourists accustomed to the city.
