The spiritual capital of the Kingdom is attracting a Spanish clientele eager to venture off the beaten path, now rivaling trendy European urban destinations like Tirana or Ljubljana. This trend validates the strategy of diversifying Morocco’s tourism offering, which is no longer solely focused on the Marrakech hub.

This ranking reflects a broader evolution in travel habits. According to Luis Santos, commercial director of Soltour, tourists are now seeking a balance between "classic destinations and emerging options," favoring flexibility and personalized experiences. With its geographical proximity and cultural richness, Morocco perfectly meets this dual demand for exoticism and accessibility.
