Moroccan Cafe Sparks Outrage with Controversial Seating Fee

A cafe located on the Moroccan-Algerian border, in Oujda, finds itself at the center of a heated controversy. The reason? The owner has decided to charge additional fees (100 dirhams) to customers wishing to enjoy the private spaces, in this case small cabins, within his establishment.
The controversy flared up when a disgruntled customer shared his experience on social media, criticizing this practice that he considers "unjustified". The owner’s response is nothing short of strange: he threatened to post a video of the customer with a woman, hinting that he could embarrass him if he persisted in his criticism.
This situation has caused surprise and indignation among many customers, who are questioning the legality of such a practice, which is not very common in cafes in the region. They consider it illogical to have to pay more or be forced to consume a meal just to enjoy a private space.
The owner’s threat to disclose a private video has also provoked the anger of Internet users, who see it as a "blatant violation of privacy and a violation of customer rights".
