Moroccan Businesswoman Arrested Again: Bad Check Allegation After Adultery Sentence

Although she was released from prison about six months ago, after serving a 2-year sentence for adultery, Hind Achabi was arrested yesterday for issuing a bad check for 42 million dirhams.
Hind Achabi had been released on Friday, August 10, 2018 after two years of imprisonment for adultery. This Wednesday, February 13, a probable return to prison, as the businesswoman has just been arrested again, this time in a case of issuing a bad check for 42 million dirhams.
It would be a complaint filed by a person who claims to be "a victim of a scam organized by the Achabi family". This means, according to media sources, Hind Achabi and her father, who is also involved in the issuance of a bad check worth 10 million dirhams.
Hind El Achchabi would be (or at least was on February 13) in a judicial police station in Anfa. This 42 million dirham check would belong to her ex-husband Mohsine Karim Bennani. According to some media, it is not yet known whether he is aware of the existence of this check and whether he has given his consent. Depending on the answer, Hind El Achchabi may or may not be prosecuted for forgery and use of forgery.
It should be recalled that after her release from prison, Hind El Achchabi, the former wife of the Kuwaiti ambassador to Vienna, decided to sue the latter, accusing him of false accusations, which, according to her, had led to her conviction.
