Moroccan Banker Anas Laghrari Emerges as Key Figure in European Super League Launch

The company Key Capital, of which the Moroccan Anas Laghrari is a co-founder, has been working with the president of Real Madrid for five years to implement the project of the new European competition, which will start with 3.5 billion euros of investment.
Florentino Pérez, president of Real Madrid, trusts Key Capital, and especially Anas Laghrari, co-founder of the bank, to finance the ambitious European Super League project. The Moroccan businessman, who could be appointed secretary general of the Super League, is a long-time acquaintance of the club president, indicates the site lainformacion.
The European Super League Company, SL, based in Spain, will manage this project with an initial investment of 3.5 billion euros. The fifteen founding clubs will benefit from the financing on the basis of this starting fund which should not be considered as an "installation bonus", but as a boost to rehabilitate their stadiums for the competition. The amounts will be returned in the event of abandonment of the project.
Six English clubs (Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur), three Italian clubs (Juventus, Inter Milan and AC Milan) and three Spanish clubs (FC Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid) will benefit from this financing granted by the Bank of America Merrill Lynch and JP Morgan.
Laghrari has also negotiated the audiovisual broadcasting rights for the matches of the new competition, the revenues of which will be used to repay the loan. Other investors such as the American Providence or the British CVC Capital Partners are also announced on this European Super League project.
