Elements of the Royal Gendarmerie of Marrakech arrested 26 individuals in a bar-restaurant in Agafay that had opened without authorization and was serving smuggled alcoholic beverages.
The gendarmes carried out a raid on the establishment on the night of Saturday to Sunday and arrested four managers as well as 22 customers, including women, according to sources at Assabah. The agents discovered large quantities of alcoholic beverages from smuggling as well as drugs with the customers, most of whom were intoxicated.
