Moroccan Authorities Arrest Four Treasure-Hunting Spiritual Leaders in Farm Raid

The Royal Gendarmerie of Bidr Jdid brought, on Monday, before the Prosecutor of the King near the Court of First Instance of El Jadida four fkihs, treasure hunters.
The case broke out when the gendarmerie elements were informed of the presence of these fkihs on a farm located in Lamharza Essahel to unearth treasures, reports Aujourd’hui le Maroc.
On the farm, the fkihs were chanting and reciting verses from the Quran. Once on the spot, the gendarmes proceeded to arrest four of the six accused. As for the other two, they managed to escape.
After confessing, the defendants revealed that three of them are from the Souss region. The fourth defendant is an imam of a mosque in the Al Haouz region.
