Moroccan Attorney General Calls for Enhanced Judicial Cooperation with Spain

The Attorney General of the King at the Court of Cassation, Mohamed Abdennabaoui, made a plea during the proceedings of the 7th Moroccan-Spanish judicial meeting, held on Monday in Marrakech.
At this conference, the Attorney General of the King at the Court of Cassation, Mohamed Abdennabaoui, pleaded for the "creation of thematic committees during these meetings, in order to deepen the discussion on specific subjects, particularly in terms of legal innovations and recent judicial orientations".
According to him, the presidency of the public prosecutor’s office plays an important role in the field of international judicial cooperation focused on the extradition of criminals, accused and suspects, as well as the issuance of letters rogatory. The same goes for the presidency of the public prosecutor’s office, whose role is crucial in the field of procedures relating to the abduction of children.
The Attorney General also emphasized the important role of the four-party commissions of the public prosecutor’s offices, responsible for terrorism in the two countries, as well as in France and Belgium. These commissions benefit from the unwavering support of the Moroccan authorities for facilitating communication, exchanging information and expertise.
