Moroccan Athletic Star Faiza Bachar Faces Homelessness After Floods Destroy House

Moroccan athletics champion Faiza Bachar has been living for more than a year in a house that is in danger of collapsing. She occupies a room that, as one might expect, has no sanitation. This is the price to pay for not being able to rebuild her house demolished by the heavy rains that hit the Ouled Berhil region near the city of Taroudant.
It was in front of the cameras of Alyaoum24 that Faiza Bachar displayed her dozens of medals won in international and national championships. Medals that, according to her, are of no help in the situation she is living in. Worse still, she has had to stop sports training, unable to afford a shower at home, and tired of asking the neighbors for a shower. And to top it all off, she lacks funding to acquire sports equipment and ensure her travels.
Today, despite the situation, the runner is asking for nothing more than to have the means to complete the roof of her demolished house, before the rainy season. She confides that she would not be able to bear having to take refuge with neighbors or relatives.
