Moroccan Asylum Seekers in Ceuta Seek Permission to Enter Mainland Spain

Many Moroccan asylum seekers from the Temporary Stay Center for Immigrants (CETI) stranded in Ceuta are asking the government delegation for permission to go to the peninsula.
While a Supreme Court ruling dated July 29 authorizes asylum seekers from Ceuta and Melilla whose application has been admitted to move freely throughout the country, many Moroccans have remained blocked in Ceuta. According to the people concerned, the CETI management requires them to prove the presence of a relative in a part of the country before leaving Ceuta. Amazement. According to them, the judicial resolution handed down in July by the contentious-administrative chamber III of the Supreme Court does not take into account this requirement.
"What we want is for the government to apply the law," plead the people concerned. These include families with children. Among them are people who have been waiting for permission to go to the peninsula for two years; the members of the group of transgender people trapped in the CETI.
