Moroccan and Algerian Migrants Protest Conditions in Spanish Enclave of Ceuta

The Spanish enclave was the scene of a demonstration by migrants of Moroccan and Algerian nationalities. They were protesting against the lack of food and the discriminatory behavior of the authorities.
According to the Tanja24 website, the undocumented migrants rebelled against the overcrowding in the reception centers and the poor quality of the food served to them.
The migrants also complained of the discrimination they say they are victims of compared to sub-Saharan migrants. According to them, the latter are much more advantaged when it comes to transfer deadlines to Spain.
While sub-Saharan migrants only need 3 months to be transferred to Spain, Moroccans and Algerians have to wait more than a year in the accommodation centers, without any visibility on their future.
