Moroccan-American Couple Robbed Near Casablanca Shopping Center

A couple of Moroccan expatriates, residing in the United States, were the victims on Saturday of a robbery near a shopping center in Casablanca. The victims lost their identity documents, bank cards and the keys to their home and car.
This theft took place on Saturday afternoon, near the Marjane Idrissia center, in the prefecture of Derb Soltane. Two individuals, on a motorcycle, snatched the handbag of a Moroccan woman residing in the USA.
Unable to catch the two thieves, the husband went to the police station in the neighborhood to file a complaint, reports the site Aljarida24.
According to witnesses, about ten such thefts are committed every day in the neighborhood. The Korea market, one of the nerve centers of commerce in Casablanca, has become the favorite haunt of pickpockets.
