Moroccan-American Billionaire Marc Lasry Eyes Takeover of Inter Milan

The American billionaire of Moroccan origin, Marc Lasry, would be tempted by a takeover of the football club Inter Milan.
The number one of the Avenue Capital Group Fund and co-owner of the NBA’s Milwaukee Bucks franchise, could buy a huge stake in the Nerazzurri rather than just acquire 30% of LionRock, reports Corriere dello Sport. Marc Lasry, whose fortune is estimated at $1.98 billion, could buy the Viale della Liberazione club along with his partner, American billionaire businessman Wesley Edens.
Founded in 1908, Inter is based in the city of Milan, in the Lombardy region, in northern Italy. The club also has a women’s section playing in Serie A. It has won three Champions Leagues (in 1964, 1965 and 2010), three UEFA Cups, two Intercontinental Cups, etc.
