Moroccan Airports Prepare for Domestic Flight Resumption Amid Health Measures

Nearly three months after the cessation of activities at all airports, the resumption of domestic flights and the return of passenger traffic are looming. At Guelmin airport, preparations are being accelerated in compliance with the health measures imposed by the National Airports Authority.
The objective of these preparations, which are part of the plan for the resumption of activities at the airports of the Kingdom, developed by the National Airports Authority (ONDA), is to guarantee a secure and reassuring welcome for air passengers, reports la Map.
For the resumption of airport activities, several procedures have been put in place by the National Airports Authority (ONDA). In Guelmin, these measures will allow passenger transit under healthy, safe and reassuring conditions, according to the director of ONDA, Abdelwahab Chaabaoui.
Among these measures, there is the installation of plexiglass plates at check-in counters, information counters and boarding lounges. This is in addition to floor signage stickers to encourage passengers to respect social distancing and barrier gestures.
