Moroccan Actress Fires Back at Critics Over Multiple Ramadan Roles

Criticized by her colleagues for her appearance in several series and films scheduled during this Ramadan month, Moroccan actress Dounia Boutazout responds via a post on her Instagram account.
The appearance of Moroccan actress Dounia Boutazout in several series and films scheduled during this Ramadan month is viewed in a bad light by her colleagues. They believe that it is unprofessional for an actor to appear in several leading roles at the same time. In an Instagram story, the star of the series "Addam Al Machrouk" settles accounts with her detractors. She expressed her displeasure at these statements, which she described as "arbitrary".
"The amount of hatred, resentment, envy and jealousy that I have observed in many actors and colleagues, young and old, as well as the arbitrary statements they make about me. [...] These statements, if they mean anything, only confirm the authenticity of the Moroccan proverb... Your brother in the profession is your enemy, and if he found poison, he would feed it to your mother... but the hand of God is above your hands... and the international calls me, follow me if you can," the actress added.
