Monaco Star Eliesse Ben Seghir Urges Teammate to Join Morocco National Team

Eliesse Ben Seghir, 19, is active in the choice of the sporting nationality of his Monaco teammate Edan Diop. He wants him to join him on the Moroccan team. In an Instagram live, the one who turned his back on the French U19 team spoke about Edan Diop, also 19 years old, repeatedly saying: "He is Moroccan." Edan Diop was born on August 28, 2004 in Tours to a Senegalese father and a Moroccan mother. He holds French, Senegalese and Moroccan nationalities. He plays for Tours FC and Chambray FC before joining AS Monaco in 2019. He has represented France in youth selections and hopes for a call-up to the A team. In the meantime, he must increase his playing time in the club (251 minutes this season).
