MolenGeek Receives 700 Meta Quest 2 Headsets to Boost Digital Training in Morocco and Europe

Meta has offered 700 Meta Quest 2 virtual reality headsets to the Molenbeek-based non-profit organization for digital talent training and activation, MolenGeek, which will benefit talents in Morocco, where it has recently established itself.

In a press release, MolenGeek stated that Meta has donated 700 Meta Quest 2 virtual reality headsets to it, which will allow it to activate 1,000 talents through 100 schools, through its ecosystems in Belgium, Italy, Morocco and the Netherlands, and also to add XR (extended reality) technology to its training offering. "Often, these technologies are inaccessible to young people. We want to offer them a first step to access the possibilities of XR and the futures they open up," comments MolenGeek CEO Ibrahim Ouassari.

Located in the heart of Molenbeek in Brussels, MolenGeek is a technology ecosystem that has set itself the mission of making the technology sector accessible to all, regardless of background or level of education. It was launched in 2015 by entrepreneurs Marina Aubert, Geoffroy Verney-Carron, Morad Chaboun and the Moroccan Ibrahim Ouassari. MolenGeek focuses on three main areas: coworking, training and events.
