Mint tea and Atlas Lions jersey: Remco Evenepoel on vacation in Morocco
Belgian cyclist Remco Evenepoel, double Olympic champion, is taking a well-deserved rest in Morocco after an exhausting season.
The Soudal Quick-Step team rider is currently on vacation in Morocco with his wife, Oumi Rayane, of Moroccan origin. The couple is currently enjoying a stay in the Moroccan desert. Far from the roads and competitions, Evenepoel seems to be enjoying his beloved’s culture.
On his Instagram account, a video shows him pouring the traditional mint tea, wearing a jersey of the Moroccan national football team. He offers her the tea with a very beautiful "Bismillah".
"Dima Maghreb," he commented under the post, testifying to his attachment to the country. After this relaxation break, the champion will quickly resume training to prepare for the challenges of the new season.
