Minister Demands Acceleration of Delayed Marrakech-Ouarzazate Road Project

Initially scheduled for 2022, the delivery of this work could be delayed. Concerned by this situation which penalizes the users of this section, the Minister of Equipment declared that he had given firm instructions to the companies concerned to respect the procedures during a meeting devoted to the examination of the progress of the development work on this national road.
During this meeting, the participants were informed of the site visit reports, specifies the minister on his Facebook account. They made it possible to note the delays in the realization of the two sections Tichka-Amerzgane (54.5 kilometers) and Amerzgane-Aït Zineb (10 km).
These delays, he recalls, are causing huge damage to the users of this Marrakech-Ouarzazate road, launched since 2014 and for which the State has mobilized a budget of 1.8 billion dirhams.
