Mining Company Uncovers High-Grade Copper and Silver Deposits in Morocco’s Anti-Atlas Mountains

London-based mining company Alterian announces it has discovered "high-grade copper and silver" in its Azrar project located in the western Anti-Atlas mountains.
According to Charles Bray, Alterian’s chairman, the drilling on the Azrar site has given "very encouraging results". "The results of our outcrop sampling campaign, including 3.79% Cu [copper] with 23 g/t Ag [grams per tonne of silver] and 2.06% Cu with 24 g/t Ag, are very encouraging and demonstrate the presence of high-grade copper and associated silver mineralization over a considerable extent of the project," he explained.
Alterian acquired the Azrar project in October as part of its acquisition of Alterian Resources Limited. The deal follows Alterian’s admission to the London Stock Exchange’s main market on October 24, 2022.
In Morocco, Alterian has 15 "high-potential projects" covering a total area of 762 square kilometers.
