AC Milan Targets Chelsea’s Ziyech as Top Transfer Priority
AC Milan has not said its last word regarding the transfer of Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech. The Lombard club intends to acquire the services of the Chelsea midfielder.
After Achraf Hakimi, another Atlas Lion is making headlines in the summer transfer market. Corriere dello Sport reveals that AC Milan has made Hakim Ziyech its priority during the current transfer window. This will be through a loan to replace its playmaker Hakan Çalhanoğlu, who left for Inter.
Even though his contract with the Blues runs until 2025, Hakim Ziyech could be tempted by the Italian adventure, especially with his recent troubles within the team, following the arrival of German coach Thomas Tuchel.
Despite a rather complicated first season marked by injuries and a lack of adaptation to the English championship, is Chelsea ready to let the 28-year-old player go? In 15 starts in the Premier League, Hakim Ziyech has scored two goals and provided three assists.
