Meta AI Chatbot Set to Launch on WhatsApp in Morocco

Meta, the parent company of Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp, is preparing to launch its artificial intelligence chatbot, Meta AI, in Morocco.
After a deployment in many countries, including the United States and more recently the United Kingdom, the intelligent assistant will be accessible to Moroccan users in the coming weeks, the company has confirmed. Algeria, Egypt and several countries in Asia and the Middle East are also affected by this expansion.
Meta AI offers a multitude of innovative features, including the creation of images from textual descriptions, recipe suggestions based on available ingredients, and answers to complex questions on various topics. The tool can also serve as a personal assistant by providing practical advice and activity ideas.
Initially available in English, Meta AI should quickly support Arabic and other languages. Meta’s goal is to make its chatbot accessible to as many people as possible, by integrating it into its various platforms. Users will thus be able to interact with Meta AI via Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp.
However, this launch raises questions about the protection of personal data. Meta assures that conversations with the AI are securely stored and that users can delete their history if they wish.
