Mentally Disabled Teen Kidnapped and Assaulted in Marrakech, Ransom Demanded

An 18-year-old mentally disabled girl lived through the horror for several days in the Marrakech region. A 26-year-old individual kidnapped and sexually assaulted her, before demanding a ransom from her family.
The mental disability of the young girl did not prevent the individual from sequestering her for three days in an abandoned house and sexually abusing her. He then tried to blackmail her family by demanding a ransom in exchange for her release.
According to Assabah, this case began when her cousin was contacted by a stranger who told her that the young girl was in his company and that a ransom should be paid if she wanted to see her again.
A complaint was then filed by the girl’s family with the Royal Gendarmerie, which set an ambush for the aggressor. He was apprehended by the gendarmes after a chase, writes the newspaper.
Pending his appearance before the Attorney General at the Court of Appeal, an investigation has been opened by the services of the Royal Gendarmerie to determine the circumstances of this case and to find any possible accomplices.
