Missing Moroccan Teen Found Safe, Abduction Claims Unfounded

A 18-year-old girl reported missing since Friday, July 5, has been found safe and sound. The police are investigating and even speak of the denunciation of a fictitious crime.
A statement from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), published on Twitter, indicates that "the 18-year-old girl, reported missing by her family, under ambiguous conditions, on July 5, was found on Sunday evening in Larache". She was found near a supermarket and does not seem to have been kidnapped, as she claimed.
"The investigations reveal that the data presented by the alleged victim to her family about her abduction by a criminal gang are unfounded," adds the DGSN, according to which the young girl was of her own free will in the coastal area of Moulay Bousselham in the company of an individual with whom she has a relationship.
The young girl is currently under investigation for the offense of insulting the Judicial Police and denunciation of a fictitious crime, the DGSN also writes.
