Meknes Police Raid Disruptive Party: 17 Arrested for Alleged Drug Use and Debauchery

The elements of the Meknes Meknes police arrested, on the night of Thursday, February 4, 2021, 17 people including three girls, during a party organized in an apartment. Among them, two brothers of a lawyer prosecuted for incitement to debauchery and drug use.
These arrests follow complaints from residents of a building where two brothers of a lawyer organize boozy parties. The noise pollution caused by people foreign to this residence, the music coming from this apartment and the smell of shisha that spread to all the floors had become unbearable for them, reports Al Massae.
Exasperated, they complained to the local authorities. They in turn informed the Meknes police elements who went to the scene. They arrested 17 people including three girls. They also seized 30 hookahs and large quantities of flavors, as well as other ingredients used for shisha.
The two main defendants, the two brothers of a lawyer, were taken into custody. As for the other defendants, they were heard by the police and are being prosecuted on provisional release.
