Massive Search Underway for Missing 4-Year-Old Near Agadir, Morocco

Significant resources have been mobilized by the authorities to search for a 4-year-old child, who disappeared on Saturday afternoon under mysterious circumstances. The incident took place in a village a few kilometers from Agadir.
The Royal Gendarmerie and the authorities of the prefecture of Chtouka-Ait Baha have decided to intensify the search to find the missing child. Since Saturday, the region has been combed with the help of a drone, a helicopter and sniffer dogs.
The family of Lhoucine Wakrim does not rule out the hypothesis of a kidnapping. Before disappearing, the child, his parents specify, was playing in front of the family home.
For a few months now, the phenomenon has been growing and mobilizing the public authorities. The tragic disappearance of Adnane in Tangier, or even that of Naima in Zagora, are only "the tip of the iceberg," had deplored the president of the Moroccan Association of Human Rights.
