Massive Fire Destroys 20 Shops in Casablanca’s Korea Market, No Injuries Reported

During the night of Thursday to Friday, a fire of unknown origin broke out in the Korea market in Casablanca, located in the Al Fida-Mers Sultan district. The fire was completely brought under control and, fortunately, there were no casualties.
Dispatched to the scene, the civil protection elements of Casablanca-Settat managed to bring the fire under control, using 8 fire trucks.
The fire did not cause any casualties. However, the local authorities deplored the loss of 20 shops. The rapid control of the fire prevented the fire from spreading to the other shops.
