Casablanca Market Fire Destroys 4 Shops, No Injuries Reported

A fire broke out on Friday at the "Souk el Arbaa" market, in the Sidi Othman district (Casablanca). The fire was completely brought under control and fortunately there were no casualties.
Alerted by the residents, the civil protection elements of Casablanca-Settat were dispatched to the scene. They managed to bring the fire under control, using 4 fire trucks.
The fire did not cause any casualties. However, the local authorities deplored the loss of 4 shops. The rapid control of the fire prevented the disaster from spreading to the other shops.
