Massive Dinosaur Fossils Unearthed in Morocco’s Kem Kem Region

A team of Moroccan, European and American paleontologists has recently discovered dinosaur fossils in Kem Kem. According to the scientific site ZooKeys, this is irrefutable proof that this area of Morocco was populated by the "most gigantic" animals.
The vast rocky plateau of Kem Kem extends "from the south of Tafilalet to the border with Algeria". Millions of years ago, it was populated by the largest animals the earth has ever known, such as the "Abelisauridae, the Spinosaurus, the Carcharodontosaurus and the Deltadromeus, as well as several pterosaurs, which are flying reptiles, and crocodyliform fossils".
Professor David Martill of the University of Portsmouth said that many of these animals fed on the abundant fish in the area. The academic talks, among other things, about "the Onchopristis, a giant sawfish characterized by harpoon-shaped teeth".
Among the paleontologists who participated in this study, several are from the University of Hassan II in Casablanca.
