Marseille Targets World Cup Standout Ounahi in January Transfer Window

Olympique de Marseille wants to acquire, as early as the next winter transfer window, the services of Moroccan international Azzedine Ounahi who stood out at the World Cup with the national team.
According to Media foot, the midfielder of SCO Angers is of interest to Pablo Longoria, president of OM who wishes to strengthen his team, with a view to the second part of the season and to secure a qualifying place for the Champions League.
In this sense, the club would have set its sights on Azzedine Ounahi. The Moroccan player caught the eye of many clubs at the World Cup under the jersey of the Atlas Lions. Moreover, he received the praise of the now former coach of Spain, Luis Enrique, after Morocco’s qualification for the quarter-finals of the competition.
Since this fine performance, the Moroccan nugget is on the radar of many European suitors. A departure next January is clearly not excluded on the side of SCO Angers, according to the media. The club had spent 3.5 M€ to have Ounahi in its squad until 2026, but his market value should now climb to around 5M€.
