Marseille’s Amine Harit Rejects Lucrative $10 Million Offer from Russian Club Zenit

Amine Harit, midfielder of Olympique de Marseille (OM), refuses to succumb to an attractive offer from Russia. On the other hand, his compatriot and teammate Azzedine Ounahi has received an offer to join the Spanish championship.
10 million euros. According to a journalist from the French channel Canal Plus, this is the annual salary proposed to Amine Harit by the Russian club Zenit Saint-Petersburg, during the summer transfer window, reports Transfer News Live on its X account. But the Moroccan midfielder of OM, whose contract runs until June 30, 2027, did not succumb to the Russian offer. Yet, this annual salary represents more than triple his current emoluments at Marseille, estimated at 3 million euros per year.
Harit has spent two seasons (2021-23) on loan from Schalke, in Germany, to Marseille. OM concluded his definitive purchase last summer, for 5 million euros. The Moroccan international (24 caps) has scored 8 goals and provided 15 assists in 94 matches under the Marseille jersey.
In addition to Harit, Azzedine Ounahi has also received an offer. The OM management has received an offer from the Spanish club Las Palmas to loan the Moroccan midfielder for a season during the current transfer period, reports Foot Mercato. On site he will find another Moroccan, Munir El Haddadi.
Arrived at Olympique de Marseille (OM) during the winter transfer window for 8 million euros thanks to his brilliant participation in the 2022 Qatar World Cup, punctuated by a semi-final, Ounahi has failed to shine in the Phocaean city. The Moroccan international scored three goals in 35 games in all competitions last season. Not in the plans of the current Phocaean coach, the revelation of the 2022 Qatar World Cup must leave Vélodrome this summer.
