Marrakech Ranks Among Top Global Cities for Expats, Danish Study Finds

Marrakech is on the list of the best cities to expatriate in the world, established by a Danish startup.
The Danish startup MoveNation recently published its list of the best cities to expatriate in the world, taking into account several criteria, including quality of life, investment opportunities, security, cost of living, hospitality and "level of English spoken". Marrakech is on this list. "This year, Marrakech has been part of our list with cities like Alicante, Bilbao, Bangkok and many other destinations around the world for the incredible resource they offer," explained Elena Zala, a member of the MoveNation team, to Morocco World News.
A Denmark-based search engine for expatriates, launched in 2021, MoveNation helps users of the service find retirement destinations. It offers users "an instant financial overview of all the options other nations have to offer," in order "to further help people move from expensive cities to cheaper cities or villages". MoveNation "helps a million people settle in a new country" by "reconfiguring the way companies are built," added Elena Zala.
