Marrakech Named 7th Best City to Visit in Global Time Out Index

Marrakech ranks 7th in the 2022 ranking of the best visited cities in the Time Out Index, an annual survey conducted among city dwellers around the world by Time Out Group, a global media and hospitality company. "The population, creativity and faith in the future have allowed Marrakech to emerge from the pandemic with a new breath. The city has long been renowned as an international melting pot," the magazine salutes. The ochre city also owes its place in this ranking to its "community" and its "creativity".

Edinburgh tops the top 10. It is followed by Chicago (USA), Medellin (Colombia) and Glasgow (Scotland). Then come Amsterdam (Netherlands), Prague (Czech Republic) and Berlin (Germany). Montréal (Canada) and Copenhagen (Denmark) close the podium.
