Based on thousands of reviews, particularly the number of occurrences of the word "beautiful" used about gardens, left by tourists on the TripAdvisor platform, the English-language website HouseFresh has established the top 20 most beautiful gardens in the world.

With 6,818 mentions of the adjective "beautiful", the Majorelle Garden in Morocco ranks second in this ranking behind the Gardens by the Bay in Singapore. It is followed by the Luxembourg Garden in Paris (6,818 mentions), the Bellagio Botanical Garden and Conservatory in Las Vegas (5,706 mentions), the Butchart Gardens in Canada (5,022 mentions), the Kings Park Botanical Gardens in Australia (4,451 mentions) and the Tivoli Gardens in Denmark (3,806 mentions).

Then come the Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden (South Africa, 3,444 mentions), Keukenhof (Netherlands, 2,719 mentions), the Christchurch Botanical Gardens (New Zealand, 2,691 mentions), the English Garden (Germany, 2,647 mentions), the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew (England, 2,092 mentions), the Yuyuan Garden (China, 2,046 mentions), the Princes Street Gardens (Scotland, 1,930 mentions) and the Hunt Gardens (Barbados, 1,864 mentions).
