Marrakech Launches Bid Process for New Public Bus Operator

Marrakech is looking for a future operator to manage the public bus transport service. A call for tenders has been launched for this purpose by the Groupement des Collectivités territoriales "Marrakech Transport".
At the end of the process, it will be a question of preparing a public service delegation contract for the bus service on the territory of Greater Marrakech, indicates a press release.
The call for tenders, consisting of two phases, delivered its first verdict on Wednesday at the headquarters of Marrakech Transport, following the opening of the bids. Six pre-selected companies have received their tender file. These will be evaluated by a commission composed of representatives of all the different parties involved in the management of the city.
At the end of this phase, the Groupement des Collectivités territoriales Marrakech Transport will designate the pre-selected competitors to participate in the second phase of the call for tenders for competitive dialogue, concludes the press release.
