Marrakech’s Jemaa El-Fna Square Named World’s Second Most Beautiful Market

Marrakech is home to one of the most beautiful markets in the world, ranking in the global top 10 of a specialized website.
Jemaa El-Fna Square ranks second in the ranking of the 10 most beautiful markets in the world, established by the travel platform Hellotickets. This square "transforms into a living spectacle every evening with its snake charmers, musicians and street food vendors," the platform describes. And to add: Marrakech "offers a unique sensory experience with its lively night markets, full of life, colors and bewitching scents".
The Shilin market in Taipei, the Taiwanese capital, known for its varied food stalls, arcade games and souvenir shops, tops the ranking. The Chatuchak market in Bangkok, Thailand, takes third place, while the one in Kadıköy, Istanbul, Turkey, takes fourth place. Temple Street Night Market in Hong Kong ranks fifth. Then come the Street Food Thursday at Markthalle Neun in Berlin, Germany where any visitor can "taste dishes from around the world in a friendly atmosphere".
The Queens Night Market in New York takes seventh place. This market is described as a must-see place to "taste international dishes and enjoy live performances". Eighth place goes to the Dongdaemun Design Plaza market in Seoul, South Korea, where any visitor can "buy trendy clothes and savor Korean snacks". The San Miguel market in Madrid, Spain, known for its tapas stalls and wine bars, and the Night Noodle Markets in Sydney, Australia, which hosts the Asian street food festival, complete the top 10.
