Maroc Telecom CEO’s Beach Villa Burglarized, Four Suspects Arrested

Four individuals were brought before the Attorney General at the Court of Appeal in Rabat, for forming a criminal association and fraud. The defendants were arrested in the act of burgling the villa of the chairman of the management board of Maroc Telecom in Harhoura.
The elements of the Royal Gendarmerie rushed to the secondary residence of Abdeslam Ahizoune on the Harhoura beach, where a burglary had been reported. Having broken in, four strangers were caught in the act as they were leaving the villa with their arms full of objects.
The four criminals tried to flee on foot, but their escape was short-lived. Taken to the gendarmerie station, they quickly confessed. For the needs of the investigation, the investigators took the statement of the villa manager, without calling on the owner, Abdesalam Ahizoune, according to Kech24.
Originating from Skhirat and Temara, the accused were placed in pre-trial detention in the Salé prison. They are being prosecuted for forming a criminal association, aggravated theft, attempted theft, public drunkenness and violation of the state of health emergency.
