Manchester United Eyes World Cup Star Bounou, Battles Bayern for Goalkeeper’s Signature

Moroccan goalkeeper Yassine Bounou, one of the architects of the historic run of the Atlas Lions at the World Cup in Qatar, is on the radar of Bayern Munich but also Manchester United. The latter is ready to outdo the German club.
After his brilliant participation in the 2022 World Cup - three clean sheets in 6 matches during the competition - the Sevilla FC goalkeeper Yassine Bounou is on the wish lists of several clubs. Manchester United could be ready for a battle with Bayern Munich for his signature during the January transfer window, reports TuttoMercatoWeb.
The English club’s leaders have closely monitored him for several months. But they could face an obstacle: the 50 million euro release clause in the Moroccan goalkeeper’s contract. Could the Red Devils break the bank to secure the services of "Bono", knowing that the main goalkeeper David de Gea seems to be regaining his best form?
