Manchester United Eyes Ajax Star Hakim Ziyech for January Transfer

Hakim Ziyech is once again on the radar of major European clubs, including Manchester United, who are renewing their attempt from last summer. After Real Madrid, which had his agents monitor him, the Red Devils could well secure the services of the Moroccan international for next season.
Now a key player for Ajax, the 26-year-old Moroccan international has achieved exploits over the past 18 months. This is evidenced by the assist he provided to his teammate Quincy Promes this week in the Champions League, on an action canceled by VAR.
Thanks to his many exploits, the Ajax midfielder with 100 caps does not lack attention. According to the British daily The Sun, Manchester United would like to recruit Hakim Ziyech in the next winter transfer window.
A few weeks ago, the Merengue had already sent agents to observe certain players from the Dutch club, including Ziyech, during the match that pitted Ajax against Valencia (3-0), a match during which the Moroccan international shone, with a superb shot that had opened the scoring for his team, the same source specifies.
Note that the midfielder, one of the stars and essential element of Ajax, surprised all of Europe, including Real Madrid, by qualifying for the semi-finals of the Champions League last season.
However, to recruit this gem from the Ajacides, the big clubs will have to dig deep and bet big. According to the terms of the new contract with Ajax, Hakim Ziyech no longer has the release clause, set at 30 million euros last August when the Moroccan international was on his way out. These clubs will now have to shell out the tidy sum of 50 million to recruit the most expensive player in the Eredivisie.
