Man Sentenced to 3 Years for Vandalizing Alsa Bus in Rabat-Salé-Témara

The verdict has been handed down. The man prosecuted by the justice system for having ransacked the Alsa bus was sentenced to three years of firm imprisonment. The authorities intend to deal with the utmost firmness with all those who will be guilty of acts of vandalism and destruction on the new buses put into service.
It was the Court of First Instance of Témara that sentenced, on Tuesday, September 10, to 3 years of firm imprisonment, the individual who had ransacked a bus from the new fleet of the Alsa Company. The man had been apprehended by the police elements of Salé, based on the images filmed by the cameras installed in the vandalized bus.
The Alsa-city bus group, the delegated manager of urban bus transport in the Rabat-Salé-Témara area, recently announced the commissioning of 150 new generation buses, designed in compliance with environmental standards and equipped in accordance with international technical standards in terms of safety and comfort.
And the Deputy Mayor of the city of Salé, Abdellatif Soudou, had warned, in a statement relayed by several websites, those who would vandalize the new buses. This incarceration for three years of firm imprisonment therefore sounds like a warning to those who plan to carry out these acts of destruction.
