Malaga FC Eyes Windfall as En-Nesyri’s Sevilla Exit Looms

Malaga FC continues to closely monitor the situation of Youssef En-Nesyri who could bid farewell to FC Seville during the winter transfer window that ended on Tuesday. The club is waiting to receive 1.5% of the transfer amount of its former player.
Youssef En-Nesyri could leave Seville in the coming days and this operation is of great interest to Malaga, his former club. Nice is ready to secure the services of the Moroccan striker for an amount of 20 million euros.
FC Seville, which is determined to part with the player due to his drop in form, remains open to negotiation with the French Ligue 1 club. The Moroccan international recently rejected a new proposal from West Ham who would have loved to integrate him into their squad. But En-Nesyri is apparently not interested in the English Premier League.
For its part, Malaga is eagerly hoping that Seville and Nice will reach an agreement for the transfer of En-Nesyri. The sale of the Moroccan striker will be good news for his former club, which should earn 1.5% of the operation, according to FIFA solidarity mechanisms, which represents 0.5% for each of the three years spent by En-Nesyri at Malaga.
If Seville accepts the Nice club’s offer of around 20 million, Malaga would receive around 300,000 euros, a non-negligible sum to replenish the Spanish club’s coffers.
