Major Alcohol Smuggling Ring Busted in Northern Morocco

One of the biggest alcohol traffickers in northern Morocco was recently arrested in the Larache region following an operation carried out by the Royal Gendarmerie services.
According to sources cited by the site Alyaoum24, following instructions given by the prosecutor of the king near the court of first instance of Larache, an operation was carried out not far from the commune of El Mouaraa Rmel which led to the arrest of a major trafficker of smuggled alcohol.

In total, some one thousand bottles of alcohol of different sizes and varieties were seized during this operation, during which a large sum of money was also found.
The person apprehended, H.D, is not unknown to the justice system. He is known for "his numerous criminal records in the alcohol trade," the same source indicates, specifying that he was placed in custody as part of this investigation.
This shipment of smuggled alcohol that was seized was to be sold during the end-of-year celebrations.
