Magnitude 4.7 Earthquake Strikes Morocco’s Driouch Region Amid Series of Tremors

Four seismic shocks with magnitudes between 3.8 and 4.7 on the Richter scale hit Driouch this Friday, July 30, according to the National Institute of Geophysics (ING).
Four new shocks were recorded. The first shock with a magnitude of 4.0 on the Richter scale occurred at 09:38:52 (GMT+1) at a depth of 17 km, a latitude of 35.564°N and a longitude of 3.581°W, the National Network of Seismic Monitoring and Alert of the ING said in a seismic alert bulletin. The felt shock is at a depth of 17 km, a latitude of 35.564°N and a longitude of 3.581°W.
The second shock with a magnitude of 4.7 on the Richter scale occurred at 09:58:49 (GMT+1) with a depth of 10 km, a latitude of 35.645°N and a longitude of 3.592°W, while the third shock with a magnitude of 4.1 on the Richter scale was recorded at 10:13:02 (GMT+1) with a depth of 13 km, a latitude of 35.596°N and a longitude of 3.579°W.
The last shock with a magnitude of 3.8 on the Richter scale occurred at 10:23:59 (GMT+1) with a depth of 14 km, a latitude of 35.670°N and a longitude of 3.548°W, the same source specifies.
