Magnitude 3.9 Earthquake Strikes Driouch, Morocco; Two Aftershocks Follow

The National Institute of Geophysics (ING) announced that three seismic shocks with magnitudes between 3.7 and 3.9 on the Richter scale hit Driouch this Tuesday, August 10.
Three new earthquakes shook Driouch. The epicenter of these three shocks is located off the coast of the province, according to the National Institute of Geophysics (ING). The first shock, with a magnitude of 3.8 on the Richter scale, occurred at 10:02:08 (GMT+1) at a depth of 24 km, a latitude of 35.563°N and a longitude of 3.625°W, the National Seismic Monitoring and Alert Network of the ING said in a seismic alert bulletin.
The second shock, with a magnitude of 3.7 on the Richter scale, occurred at 10:04:21 (GMT+1) at a depth of 12 km, a latitude of 35.617°N and a longitude of 3.626°W, while the third shock, with a magnitude of 3.9 on the Richter scale, was recorded at 10:05:46 (GMT+1) at a depth of 25 km, a latitude of 35.608°N and a longitude of 3.625°W.
