Magnitude 3.6 Earthquake Shakes Northern Morocco’s Al Hoceima Region

Al Hoceima and its region were hit on Friday evening by a slight earthquake. This mini-quake was also felt in several cities in northern Morocco.
According to the National Institute of Geophysics (ING), the shock with a magnitude of 3.6 on the Richter scale occurred exactly at 7:18:09 PM (GMT+1) in the commune of Tifarouine.
The felt shock had a depth of 18 km, a latitude of 35.089°N and a longitude of 3.875°W, it is further specified.
The last earthquake in Morocco occurred on September 22 in Rissana Janoubia, in the Larache region.
